I've been working in Assisted Living for 23 years. In other words, I'm a pioneer in the industry! I am a retired LVN with 30 years of experience in Home Health, Hospice, Long Term Care and Assisted Living. These experiences have prepared me to work closely with our residents and their families as they transition into Assisted Living at 220 Harper. I am a Certified Assisted Living Manager in Texas.
Located on 2 1/2 acres, 220 Harper is a warm and inviting community of 15 apartments. Each resident has a private apartment furnished with their own furnishings. We provide three nutritious meals daily in our beautifully appointed dining room. Transportation to scheduled appoinments and activities is provided in our on-site limousine. Our staff provides assistance 24 hours a day.
Our goal is to provide supportive services to promote independence and social interaction, while maintaining each individual resident's dignity.

I have a masters in Gerontology (study of aging) from the University of the Incarnate Word, and started this business to form a new choice to the elderly community. You will not find a higher quality, yet more affordable, residential style assisted living, dedicated to personal care, anywhere in the state of Texas. We have a higher life satisfaction and longer stay than anyone else, and the reasons are evident when you step inside the door. We are very proud of our residences, and feel you will find it easy to make it home.
